Name/TitleMilk Measure
About this objectThe measure consists of a mug with a handle rising almost vertically upwards at the back. The handle curls over and outwards at its end to form a rough half circle. The mug has a narrow rim at the top and bottom, and what appears to be a stamp of accuracy on the front. The measure was hooked inside a large milk can when milkmen delivered from door to door and used as a measure when serving.
