Name/TitleScythe Blade
About this objectA scythe blade. The blade is long and slightly curved. The cutting edge of the scythe is on the inner curve. The curve tapers nearly to a point. The back or outer curve is thickened and extends in an ‘L’ shape beyond the broad end of the blade where there is a metal link. This blade was donated alongside a corresponding wooden shaft (STMEA:1998-11b). Combined together, these objects form a complete scythe.
