Eric Barker was a collector in the 1950s onwards. When he died, his collection was sold through Cheffins Auctioneers, Cambridge, to raise money for the Addington Fund. The auction took place on Saturday 17th June 2017.
The Addington Fund was set up by a local vicar in the aim of supporting the farming community after the outbreak of foot and mouth in the early 2000s. It is still in operation as of 2019.
