About this objectThese were found by the donor in a barn at the farm, along with some horse harness and a couple of flails. The farm was formerly a dairy farm and clogs are believed to have been worn for yard work, feeding the stock, etc. The leather uppers are lined with hessian, the wooden soles have iron studs, and are much wormed. There is one small piece of bootlace left in one boot, the lace is missing altogether from the other.
