About this objectLarge diameter rope with loop at one end and back spliced at other end. It was used by the donor at stables at Langmere Farm. The rope could be used to make horse lie down. Looped end passed around front fetlock and rope back through loop rope passed over horse to other side where held. Horse asked to move forward. When it lifted the leg in loop of rope it was pulled up and held there causing horse to fall.
