About this objectA bee smoker used by Mr. Ronald Edward Lockwood of Thorndon, the donor's late husband, who died around 1986. This smoker is called a straight nose or Bingham tinne smoker. It is attached to the bellows by four screws. The bellows are triangular and made of wood and canvas. The canvas is fixed to the wood by a number of small tacks.
