Name/TitleBeet or Root Hook
About this objectThis beet hook has a turned handle, a ferrule, a long, narrow blade curving slightly downward and cut away near the end to half its width, leaving the top half to curl downwards more sharply as a pointed spike. The handle is split for about half its length from the ferrule but still seems serviceable.
The colour of the hook is variable brown.
