About this objectAn original WWII period WLA gilt badge, inlaid with green enamel to central wheat sheaf and red enamel to the crown. Brooch Fastening. The brooch would usually have been worn on the felt hat and also on the uniform green jumper. The badge was discontinued after 1942 due to metal shortage.
