About this objectAn oatmeal-coloured three-legged milking stool, with the legs not quite all the same length and not placed exactly in the corners of an equilateral triangle. This was made by Arthur Stowe, using hand tools and inspiration from the surrounding countryside. It is one of 23 milking stools held in the museum made by him.
