This item is the lid to the tin used to contain the caponising set, the tin was originally used to contain confectionery. The lid has a picture of a woman with 2 children and boats in a harbour.
The donor states the kit was used at Groton near Boxford c. 1950-1969 for fattening cockerels for Christmas.
