About this objectOriginally a domestic vacuum cleaner (the DAISY VACUUM CLEANER) from YALLOP & SON HOUSE FURNISHERS of Harleston, it was used by the donor's husband in a Harleston meadow between 1935 and 1979 as a hand seed dresser.
It has carrying handles attached to a wheel, which is turned to operate the bellows. On the opposite side to the wheel is a plate with a hole in it, which is removeable by loosening two wing nuts.
