About this objectMade by the donor for a close footed horse. There are 4 holes on the outside limb and 2 holes on the inner limb. The plain inner limb can be driven in to fit the hoof and could therefore not be nailed except near the front.

Outer limb with 4 holes in fuller.
Inner with 2 holes in fuller.
Clips on either side about 1/2 inch from the front of the shoes.
