About this objectUsed by the father of the donor until the 30's or 40's at Caley Green Farm, Somersham. This is made of a centre bar with a jointed link to a limb. The object of this apparatus is to effect the attachment of three whipple-trees to a pommel-tree, without the entanglement which would ensue if they were attached direct.
