Name/TitleCoal Scuttle
About this objectThe Coal Scuttle was bought by the donor's mother-in-law when she married in 1900 and used it up until 1938. The donor stopped using it because she kept it under the kitchen sink and had a chair near on which the children climbed and would upset the scuttle if they fell off the chair, causing it to tip up.
