About this objectA wide necked moulded storage jar (a) with a leather covered cork stopper, gathered up and tied (b). There is a number moulded on the base. The jar contains 'coccus cacti', a dark grey granular substance (flower of cacti). This was used to store chemicals for sale in the chemist's shop. The bottle is clear glass and the cork with the leather cover is tan coloured.
