About this objectThe blade of a food processor used by donors mother for grinding coffee beans, purchased at the Ideal Home Exhibition, when at Olympia. Used at home in Clacton.
The processor was manufactured by Swiss company 'Turmix' and was known as the 'Turmix Standmixer', first manufactured in 1943. The design is based on the Waring companies 'Rocket Blender'.
This object is part of our permanent Domestic Life display - 'The 1950's Kitchen.
