About this objectHeavy sugar loaf cutters, used in the kitchen for breaking up sugar loaves. When the catch at the bottom is released, a metal spring holds the cutters at the open position. When used, the forefinger and index finger are placed either side of the projection on the side of the handle, to prevent one's knuckles from catching.
