About this objectMade of clear plastic with a green base and lid.
Stamped on the base: ' BRILLIANT/ MADE IN ENGLAND.'
This was used mainly between c.1968 and 1975. Rock salt was kept in it, already crushed with a rollling pin. It was originally bought with jam or preserve in it. Kept on the lower shelf of the lower cupboard of the kitchen cabinet.
