About this objectThis is a stoneware pudding type basin, brown outside and beige inside.
Mainly used c.1966. It was used as a butter dish in the kitchen.
If the butter was hard, the heatproof dish could be put in the oven or in front of the fire without fear of cracking. Kept on the upper shelf of the lower cabinet of the kitchen cabinet.
