Name/TitleTin-biscuit
About this objectThis is a circular tin with a completely detached lid; the sides of the base are decorated with a cream latticework pattern, the lid with red/pink roses all over.
The tin was kept with others, stacked one on tops of the other, in the cabinet which formerly stood in the kitchen at 20 Crowe Street, between the table and the back door.
It was used to keep cakes in after it had been emplied of biscuits. Mrs Wilding had a tin of biscuits as a Christmas present every year from Misses V. & E. Longe, of Abbot's Hall, and believe this was one of the tins.
