About this objectThe oven is of half round form, open to the fire. It has one gridded shelf and a handle on top.
Used by the donor's mother, to keep meals hot for her husband when he came in late. The donor's sister used it to roast wild ducks and partridges in front of the kitchen fire at Grange Farm.
