This was used by James Reason (d. 1960), his father, Shepherd Reason, and grandfather, who were bakers at Front Street, Mendlesham.
It is very much worn.

Shank and socket: 2 feet 6 inches
Blade: 7 inches by 10 inches (originally 1 foot long)
