About this objectThis was used by Simpson the chemist (later Stearn Bros) in the late 19th century at Stowmarket., for the production of labels for "GAME PASTE", which was mixed on the premises by the warehouse man. The plate is divided into two panels, the first showing farmyard fowls, the second showing field birds.
