Name/TitleLux Box
About this object'Magnum size' box of Lux soap powder, opened at the top of one side and containing some of the original soap powder. Mostly dark blue. The rear is white and contains a section on 'fabric tips', instructions, and an illustration of a woman wearing a black and white jacket.
Lux flakes came onto the market in 1899 although it was not until the 1920's that Lux soap flakes were introduced in the UK.
