Join us for a FEAST by Night event this Valentine’s Day for Supper and Stories, a 3-course meal and storytelling experience

Enjoy an exclusive romantic evening, where the alchemy of love, food and storytelling come together to create an unforgettable date night with our Valentine’s Supper and Stories.

Kick off with one of our signature cocktails/mocktails before enjoying a delicious three-course meal. You’ll be entertained by a tabletop quiz and live professional Storyteller, Sarah Lloyd-Winder who will bring to life stories of love and romance.

Our café FEAST is transformed for this adult-only evening event.

Start time – 7pm

Cost – £100 per couple or £50 per person and groups are also welcome, of course!

Bookings are non-refundable or transferable.

Valentine’s Supper and Stories Menu

A welcome cocktail is provided on arrival and one glass of wine or soft drink will be provided with the main meal. 

A bar will also be available to purchase further drinks throughout the evening.

 

Welcome Cocktail

A selection of love potions, including our Harvey Walled Garden Banger and Longe Sisters Island Iced Tea

 

Starters 

Single Baked Camembert with dipping breads and chutneys or larger serving as a sharer for two

Caramelised Pear tartlet with walnut and whipped blue cheese salad with balsamic dressing

King prawn bruschetta with lemony fennel salad or bruschetta

 

Mains

Food Museum reared lamb navarin and herby dumplings, buttery potato mash served with seasonal vegetables from the museum’s walled garden

Hearty wild mushroom pie with mash and seasonal vegetables from the museum’s walled garden

Couples’ charcuterie and cheese sharing board – selection of fabulous locally sourced cured meats and cheeses with chutneys and condiments and delicious breads, an intimate feast for two!

Spicy Whole roast cauliflower with bulgur wheat pilaf with pomegranate, pistachio and spring onion glaze

 

Desserts 

Aromatic poached pears in red wine and cinnamon – with Chantilly cream or ice cream

Steamed chocolate pudding with cream and raspberry coulis.

Vegan Lemon tartlet with spiced sugar dusting and fresh blueberries.

Let us help you say ‘I do’ at our beautiful and memorable setting.

Add a private proposal with a bottle of prosecco for you both at our beautiful and intimate fishing lodge. Have the opportunity to have your photos taken on the island (photographer not included) to mark the day £40.00 plus vat per couple.
