Join baker Rebecca Bishop, author, baking teacher and founder of Two Magpies, and Food Anthropologist Bee Farrell from the Suffolk Guild of Food Writers for an afternoon of seasonal food and conversation celebrating spring. The panel will explore the season’s themes and the inspiration they’ve drawn from celebrated food writers.
The discussion will be accompanied by a specially curated spring menu, prepared by David Thomas, our Head of Learning and member of the Suffolk Guild of Food Writers.
Menu:
- Goats’ ricotta dumplings in spring broth with ramson capers
- Roasted lamb rack, new potatoes and green garlic alioli
- Rhubarb, orange blossom and almond sponge with blackthorn cream
- Burnt House pinot meunier rosé
- Spring mint cordial
