Trainee Taster Day at the Museum of East Anglian Life
Are you looking to transform your life and gain new skills?
The Museum of East Anglian Life is looking to support 2 Heritage Management Trainees (2019-2020) with either a Retail or Marketing focus for 1 year (starting Oct 2019) as part of Transforming People to Transform Museums, a Skills for the Future programme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
We are looking for dedicated individuals, with no prior paid museum experience, who are keen to develop new skills and connect the local community with our collections.

Saturday 15th June 2019 from 10 am – 12:30 pm
Behind the Scenes Tour, Practical & Interactive demonstrations and Refreshments (N.B. This is not a drop in session; please stay from 10—12:30)
Monthly Bursary of £1200
Trainees will gain experience of museum practice by working with professionals across the team including marketing, retail, collections, learning , events and estate, as well as a Level 3 Diploma in Cultural Heritage. A GCSE grade C in English is required but no previous museum experience is necessary.
We encourage local young people aged 18-25 that have not completed an undergraduate degree to apply.
