If you, your parents, grandparents or other relatives have a connection to these historical dialect studies or these villages, the project would love to hear from you. We would like to interview you as part of our dialect research and will be able to share audio recordings, photos and other archive materials from the villages and people who took part in the original survey.
The project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, wants to find out what dialect words and phrases are still in use and how they vary from place to place and we invite people to take part by sharing your dialect words, memories and stories or by filling out our new dialect survey.
Contact our Engagement Officer at laura.kloss@eastanglianlife.org.uk for more information or to get involved.
